Dan & Jen {Wedding by Haley}

Dan and Jen are the kind of couple that you might meet and think they’re already married. They just have this casual, comfortable, ease about them. On March 23rd, the sun shone on Philadelphia once again after a few days of rain, promising the first signs of spring. At Hotel Monaco, the bride and her closest friends got ready for the day, curling hair and applying makeup, taking breaks only for Wawa and coffee runs. A few blocks away toward Center City, Dan got ready for the big day alongside his groomsmen. The two met to see each other for the first time on their wedding day outside of Hotel Monaco. Once they laid eyes on each other, nothing could wipe the grins off their faces for the rest of the day.

Joined by their bridal party, we walked just around the corner to the 18th Century Gardens where spring blooms were just beginning to poke through. Though the day was windy, the sun continued to shine brightly as we traveled between the historic locations all located within a few blocks of each other in Old City.

Jen walked down the aisle, escorted by both her mom and dad, as the sun set outside, casting a warm glow over the top floor of the American Jewish History Museum. The two exchanged rings and vows, and sealed their marriage with a kiss, bringing cheers from family and friends in attendance.

Cocktail hour was held down a few floors in the museum where guests could mingle and chat while overlooking Independence Hall and the sights of Old City. Back up on the top floor, the guests made their way into the crisp white room that had been switched to hold the reception. The newlyweds were announced and shared a first dance, and were joined by other couples on the dance floor. The Dj’s from EBE are always known to keep a dance floor full, and this was no exception. They danced and sang until the very end when Jen and Dan were surrounded by their family and friends for the last dance of the night.

Congratulations to the newlyweds! You two are perfect together and we wish you the best as you begin this new chapter.
