The 2019 wedding season couldn’t have started with a sweeter couple. The whole day was such a testament to Cordell and Ali’s relationship and each part reflected them and their desire to fully commit to one another.
It was a chilly March afternoon, but the sun was shining and the skies blue. Alicia was the perfect picture of poise and relaxation. Even the weeks leading up to the wedding she remained calm, confident that all the planning would unfold just as it should and at the end of the day, they would be married. This made our job a breeze as everyone reflected that quiet calmness.
Ali slipped into her lace gown with the help of her mom and sister. Her mother beaming with pride at her baby girl. The rest of the bridesmaids took part in their own first look and instantly were brought to tears.
Short thereafter, Ali and Cordell shared their first look. It was sweet and simple, but Cordell’s eyes said it all. He adores his girl.
The rest of the afternoon was just down-right fun. Not only is this couple amazing but their chosen crew was supportive and up for anything.
Ali’s dad walked her down the aisle and then took on the special role of not only giving his daughter away but also marrying the two. It was a special ceremony, reflecting the commitment to each other and their desire to lead a God-honoring marriage.
Then it was time to celebrate! Dancing, speeches, a delicious dinner and a hilarious cake smash filled the evening. The new Mr. & Mrs. Ellis exited through a line of sparklers and to the cheers of their friends and family.
What a special celebration it was!
