Is there anything better than coffee and snuggles on a Sunday morning at home with your sweetheart? I can’t think of anything, and Caroline and Garret invited me into their cozy home to capture these sweet moments for their engagement photos. I was invited in and greeted with coffee, and found out Garret is quite the coffee connoisseur. We chatted about their not so typical valentine’s day, and reminisced about early days in their relationship as we looked at prom photos on their refrigerator. I love the ease that these two have in their relationship, and within a few minutes they were complete naturals in front of the camera, just hanging out like I wasn’t even there.
Caroline and Garret met in high school and have been together over 9 years! That’s right, almost a decade already, and I have no doubt that this foundation is built to last. These two love their lives in the city, they love trying out new restaurants around their center city apartment, being outside when the weather is nice, and going to the beach. For the end of February we seriously lucked out with near 70 degree weather! And after taking photos at their apartment, we walked around the neighborhood to enjoy the beautiful weather.
I am so glad these two trusted me to come into their home and try something new for their session. I love the photos that came out of it, and can’t wait to see what their wedding day has in store. Crossing our fingers that the weather will be just as lovely!
