Bryan & Kristin {Wedding by Tessa}

“Like a river flows surely to the sea
Darling so it goes
Some things are meant to be
Take my hand, take my whole life too
For I can’t help falling in love with you”Bryan & Kristin {Wedding by Tessa}
We simply adore Bryan & Kristin, even more so after their wedding day. The rain threw them a curveball as it has with most of the couples in May, and threatened to dampen their day. But very quickly these two embraced it. The slight mist was just light enough to continue to take advantage of the BEAUTIFUL grounds throughout the day at The Bally Spring Inn. The mix of fog and rain created a visual that looked as if we sliced out a piece of Ireland and transported it to Pennsylvania.

Kristin began the day with her best girls, tucked away in the Inn. Every inch of this place was charming and it seemed at every corner we found another fun spot to photograph. Kristin was gorgeous, slipping into her gown as her mother adjusted the floor length veil. Her best friend nearby awaiting to help her slip into her heels. Kristin is a huge Disney fan, particularly Cinderella, and she definitely gave this character a run for her money.

Bryan obviously agreed, with the look he had as his bride walked towards him down the aisle. Bryan adores his girl. The ceremony was simple and sweet and after months of planning, the big moment finally arrive. Bryan and Kristin were husband and wife.

We raced against the rain, bringing the bridal party out with umbrellas. This couple was up for anything, which made our job a breeze. The reception followed, where friends and family gathered inside as the rain began to fall outdoors. The cake topper was perfectly placed, a replica of the couple; Bryan in his sharp police attire and Kristin with her curly blonde hair. They began the evening with their first dance, toasts and a shoe game.

In sickness and in health came a bit sooner than expected. Kristin wasn’t feeling well later in the evening and had pushed through her discomfort most of the day. But during dinner she needed to slip away to regain some strength. That following hour or two left me almost in tears. Bryan didn’t leave Kristin’s side. He supported her and stayed near her.

The evening ended in the most fun way possible. The bridesmaids, bride & groom slipped back into their PJS (my kind of couple), to end the evening dancing with their friends and family.

This day couldn’t have been a stronger testimony to the love Kristin and Bryan have for one another. Their marriage is bound to be one with depth and strength, embracing the good but also leaning on one another through the harder moments.

Thank-you for choosing us to walk alongside you during this journey. You guys are simply the best.
