“You look good wearing my future.”
– Some Kind of Wonderful
The 2018 wedding season started back up in EPIC proportions, and we could not think of a better couple to kick off the year with.
We met this bride and groom at the Marriott in Collegeville, where the atmosphere with both groups was extremely relaxed. The anticipation of the day ahead hung in the air. The girls slipped into their gorgeous floor length gowns and the boys took in that days playoff football game as they straightened their ties and buttoned their suit jackets.
Bob & Ariane chose to do a first look, but before they did, they exchanged heartfelt letters. Words that brought tears to this bride and a beaming smile to the dapper groom.
Bob turned to see his bride for the first time, his excitement and adoration written all over his face.
A quick bus ride to The Foundry and we were on to photos! Let me tell you, Winter has not been kind in Pennsylvania this year. With days where the temperature dips below zero and what feels like a weekly snow storm. This particular afternoon was warmed slightly by the sun and paired with striking blue skies. This crew were CHAMPS for braving the teen weather conditions (with plenty of warm up breaks indoors).
The day was relaxed and unhurried from start to finish. Each moment felt like it was being embraced without an event passing by where the significance was not noted.
Bob and Ariane’s pastor from Epic Church in Philadelphia kept the ceremony sweet and playful while also stating the significance of the powerful union that was being commemorated on that date. Bob & Ariane hold their faith, family and friends as the utmost important things in their life and the ceremony was such a testament to that.
This may be the first wedding of the TMI year, but I will be anxious to see if any entrance this year tops this one. Bob, a huge Trust the Process believer, entered with his bride to the tune of The 76ers Theme Song, tossing shirts and waving a foam finger. AMAZING.
The celebration continued with sentimental speeches, exquisite dining and a full dance floor all night.
We could not have been more honored to be able to document this love story.
Hope you two are enjoying the WARM temperatures in Costa Rica! We’re all a little jealous here in chilly Philadelphia.
